I highly recommend Dr. Misty Funk with Myofascial Release Austin. She's professional, easy to talk to, and has a great understanding of the human body. Her approach to myofascial care is a combination of deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. We've been working together to reduce tightness in my shoulders, hips, and legs, and I leave every session feeling increased flexibility and less overall tightness. I really appreciate Dr. Funk's mastery of her profession. She incorporates patients' individual concerns and pain into her practice. She never applies a cookie-cutter massage technique to unique individuals. Dr. Funk has created a trustworthy and comfortable environment for massage, something I have struggled with having other massage specialists. I always leave her office feeling 2 inches taller and reborn into a younger body. I also enjoy that Dr. Funk offers both chiropractic adjustments and massage, that way patients don't have to see another specialist. By far, Dr. Funk has been the best massage therapist I have had in the US.

Dr. Misty Funk's approach to care is very personal and thoughtful. Her passion for helping and problem-solving really shines through. Lingering issues that could not be resolved through other chiropractors and PT's have improved greatly under Misty's care, resulting in less brain fog, more mobility, and better sleep quality. She's an incredible care provider, and just a good all-around human.

Dr. Funk is the best of the best! As a writer who is always hunched over a book or laptop, I've dealt with neck pain and tension headaches for years. I've experienced multiple treatment plans across 4 different states, and I have never left a session feeling better than I did the first time I met Dr. Funk. Post-treatment (myofascial release + chiropractic adjustment), I'm having the best sleep I've had in years. Only down side is now I have no excuse for not writing more... ;)
